UCC to receive Rising Star Award

Zeeland — Uniform Color Company of Holland will receive the Rising Star Award, the state’s highest workplace safety and health award, from the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA), at a ceremony and luncheon Wednesday, June 27.

The Michigan Voluntary Protection Program's (MVPP) Rising Star Award is given to companies that have an outstanding safety and health management system in place and have the desire and commitment to achieve the highest level.

The MIOSHA Consultation Education and Training (CET) Division administers the MVPP Program.
